Hydr8 Achieves Databricks Brickbuilder Status

Earlier today, Advancing Analytics and our Data Lakehouse Accelerator, Hydr8, were announced as launch partners to Databricks’ new Brickbuilder Accelerators program.

Brickbuilder Accelerators are an extension to the already successful Brickbuilder Program, and we’re thrilled to be included as a launch partner in this important initiative. In Databricks’ own words, Brickbuilder Accelerators are “based on a foundation of proven customer deployments, Brickbuilder Accelerators help you solve critical analytics challenges, reduce costs, and boost productivity quickly and with as little friction as possible.”

Since Hydr8’s inception in 2017 our goal has always been to streamline the implementation of a secure, robust, and scalable Data Lakehouse platform and to expedite extracting value from data for our customers. Our inclusion in this program is testament to our fantastic engineering teams' hard work in achieving this goal.

We continue to evolve Hydr8 today, making use of the latest and greatest inventions from Databricks – the latest such evolution brings the inclusion of Unity Catalog to boost the governance, observability, and discoverability to a Hydr8 driven Lakehouse right out of the box.

Our team has successfully implemented Hydr8 with more than 25 customers worldwide inclusive of a complex media conglomerate with over 1,400 subsidiary companies, a fast-paced consumer packaged goods company operating in over 60 countries, a healthcare start-up helping make medication safer and more effective in children, and a multitude of highly regulated finance and insurance institutions. The ability to scale and adapt to each of these environments has empowered our customers to do more with data today, whilst preparing them for what comes next as we enter a new era of artificially intelligent capabilities.
